I was recently given this book by my ceailc mother-in-law, and I am so grateful. My sister and I are both ceailcs, and desserts like cake and cookies have been missing from our lives for years. (I mean, REAL cakes and cookies that taste like their gluten-laiden counterparts.) From the very first recipe we tried- frosted macadamia nut bars to my 25th birthday treat- whoopie pies , my entire family has devoured the outcomes. Including those who can eat wheat. This book explains evey detail about gluten-free flours, right down to thier protein contents, and how and why they work. This is an absolute must for anyone who wants to enter back into the realm of heavenly desserts, or anyone catering to their beloved ceailc. Just be prepared to stock your shelves with a bunch of new flours, and you’ll be on your way!

I bought this book for my brother who was recently diagnosed with gluten intolerance.  he does not have kids.  yes this book is really helpful to him.

The information inside is really relevant and i just wanted to say for those who dont have children, this book still gives great advice.

For example, the best ways to approach your kitchen in setting it up in a gluten friendly manner, so as not to allow contamination from others, is great advice.  And the ideas on selecting and handling eating out at restaurants is fantastic.

After reading this ebook, my Brother realises now that he does not have to miss out on the good things in life. He can go out to restaurants, eat well at home or out and about, and live a gluten free life just as well as the rest of us.  so thank you very much for this excellent book.  Celia.

Hi just wanted to say how much I enjoyed this book.  its paints a great overall picture. not just on the disease and what foods to eat but a wholistic approach to living life with children who have this condition and what to expect and how to approach things.

Great work.  love the supermarket card.  I use it to check all the various ingredients and work out which ones are safe and which arent.  we also followed your advice on talking to the school to help sort out what foods will be safe for my child. great stuff. thank you too.
